25 Mar
Today we are looking at fat burning foods for abs that every kitchen cabinet should have for someone who wants to have a flat stomach. In the past we have looked at fat burning foods for abs that should be every fridge as well as fat burning foods for abs that should be in every freezer.
The food we eat is extremely important in getting those sexy abs that we all want to have, exercise alone is just not going to cut it.
So next time you go grocery shopping, be on the lookout for these foods:
- Chocolate - yes chocolate! I had to start with my favorites things that I love. The trick with buying chocolate is that it has to be as dark as it possibly can be, in the range of 70 – 75% cocoa content. The good thing is that it is packed with antioxidants, but on the other side, it still has high calories. Therefore, eating chocolate should not be overdone, and it should just be for when you seriously have those cravings.
- Black or kidney beans cans – it may be surprising for many of you when I tell you that these are packed with antioxidants, actually more antioxidants than hose contained in blueberries? Now you can see why I love them. They also have a high fiber content which is important in keeping one regular
- Teas that are rich in antioxidants – I have always preferred tea as compared to coffee, and the teas that I love are green tea, oolong tea and rooibos tea
- Oat bran and oats – these are a great source of fiber. Stay away from the pre-packaged packets of oats as they are loaded with sugar and focus on steel cut oats.
- Brown rice and brown pasta – I have since stopped buying white rice or pasta, and so should you
- Tomato sauce – Yes I know what you are thinking! And I am here to tell you that not all tomato sauce is bad. It is full of lycopene, you need to buy tomato sauce that is made from olive oil, not soybean oil. Also, make sure that the brand you buy is the one that does not have high fructose corn syrup. And lastly, get tomato sauce that is packaged in glass or plastic and not tin.
- Stevia – this is a good sweetener with little to no calories
- Raw honey – not processed honey. Honey has nutritional value as compared to sugar and a teaspoon only has 5g of carbs. No harm done with enjoying it with some tea
These are just some of the foods that I have in my kitchen cabinet, fat burning foods for belly.
Go through your cabinet and have a look at the foods that you have, and have a go at getting more healthier.
