Having a baby is undoubtedly one of the most exciting, life altering events of any parent’s life. For women, it always leaves physical reminders of this life altering event. Those stunning jeans that you bought before the baby do not fit anymore and this can leave some women feeling frustrated. Regaining your shape and losing those extra pounds would definitely do wonders for your confidence levels
However, seeing that your body has gone through this huge, amazing thing, you definitely want to start your exercise program slowly. Juggling your life and the new baby for most women proves to be quite a challenge, that is why I would suggest starting out with simple things like nutrition and lifestyle. Start out with these 3 tips and you will be on your way to regaining your figure
Get going. While you are taking care of your precious baby, make sure you get moving, dance with the baby for at least 5 or more minutes. Or when the baby is sleeping you can take a little walk and doing household /baby chores will stimulate some of your muscles. However small it may be, it will be beneficial to your body
Drink lots of water. Water not only keeps the body hydrated, it is essential for weight loss
Exercise. Before you embark on a light exercise program, ensure that your body has had time to recuperate after giving birth. Also as important is to ensure that your doctor has given you the green light to start an exercise program.
