Do you have fat at the back of your arms, or know someone who does?Its ok because today you are going to learn how to get rid of arm flab for good.

Some of my friends jokingly call it their bye -bye because it flaps every time they wave goodbye to someone. So we are zooming on arm flab and we are looking at the best ways to get rid of fat under the arms.

A huge part of it depends on your nutrition, and extra fat under the arms suggests that you have fat throughout your body that you do not want or that should not be there. Nutrition becomes really important.

You need to vary the way your hands are positioned as you do them. You need to do some pushups with your hands pointing away from your body, you need to do some with your hands pointing towards your body and the rest you can do with your hands pointing in the normal pushups position, which is the same direction as that faced by your body. This is to ensure that the different parts of the triceps are exercised.

Mistakes To Avoid When Doing The Incline Treadmill Walk

Just the other day we looked at the benefits of uphill walking and I would like to expand on that article. Today I am going to cover two major mistakes that a lot of people make, which prevents them from getting the most out of their workouts.

If you are not running on that treadmill, these two mistakes could be costing your workouts and are the major reasons why you are not at the weight that you want.

Incline Treadmill Walking Mistake #1 – Holding the Hand Rails

I see this every single time I am at the gym, and I must say that I also used to do it in the past.

The people who will get the most out of their workouts are those that do not hold on to the rails, and they allow their legs to do all the work for them.

Do not deceive yourself into thinking that because you are on an incline you are doing great and having a great workout, because you are not. Your hands are taking off all the work that your legs could be doing, and you are only burning minimal calories.

Incline Treadmill Walking Mistake #2 – Poor Posture

The other mistake that a lot of people make when they are on the treadmill sometimes because they are not really aware that they are doing it is

  • to slouch forward
  • to have an rounded upper back
  • to have their head facing down

People tend to do more of these three things as the slope of the treadmill increases. It becomes easy to do as the incline increases because your legs are now talking to you, they can feel the effort it takes just to keep going, but you must do whatever you can to maintain good posture.

Not sure what it is, here is how it looks like:

  • Your chest needs to be out,and your shoulders need to be back
  • Your eyes must be looking forward so that your head is not facing down
  • Your arms must be swinging in a natural movement by the side of your body

You can even engage your abs by tucking them in slightly and working your abdomen.

If you just rectify these two mistakes you will be truly be on your way to getting the best workout on the treadmill as you possibly can.

For those of you who want to add even more punch to your walking on the treadmill, you can add weight to your body.

This basically will replicate an actual climb on a mountain or a hill and the benefits are totally magnificent.

The best way to do this is add a knapsack that is heavy, fill it up with whatever you want, as long as you add weight to it.

This is extremely effective and if you include this strategy in your workouts there is no reason why you should not burn fat, lose weight and get toned!
